I saw just before I signed on that he is one point behind Corker. It's Ford 47% and Corker 48% so they still probably are counting on the west side of the state since they are in central time and haven't been closed as long as the east side and they traditionally go democratic. I just hope and pray he wins. The anti-gay amendment one issue passed of course which is depressing and they only counted nineteen percent voted against it (I was of course one of them). I'm sure they could always change it later so that is good and I'm sure things will change in the future for gay couples in the future here in Tn.

2. yea I'm hopeful but they've been polling neck-n-neck and |
|
it's known that people are apt to switch their votes racially in the voting booth than on telephone. Ford Jr sadly has an uphill battle.

8. But Davidson and Shelby counties are still not finished |
|
And both are heavy Democrat...Shelby running 65-35 for Ford so far and Davidson at 60-39.

9. Not sure about that. Webb ahead now in VA. If that holds we don't need |
|
Tenn IF we get Montana and Missouri. Three ifs, yes, but I like our chances better than the Republican's chances at this point in the night.

Davidson still out (43% reporting) but Shelby (Memphis) is done. Not sure if he can cobble together enough votes.

12. Corker's lead under 49,600 |
|
Going to be a nailbiter, but Nashville-Davidson County up to 72% reporting. Don't know if there are enough votes left out there.
