7. Perfect position for him...as was his position in Oakland.
I still remember at 1992 Dem Convention how the Dems didn't want Jerry to embarrass them on stage at convention. BUT, risking all, Brown, DID stand up and had his 'say.'

I remember voting for Jerry that year, on principle...that someone had the courage to "speak Truth to authority".
