ALL RIGHT! Something fishy is going on in the Montana Senate Race!
Why are most of the counties reporting 100% votes in, but according to CNN website, one county (Meagher) ALL ZEROS! 0% vote reported, Zero Votes reported!

<http://us.cnn.com/ELECTION/2006//pages/results/states/MT/S/01/county.001.html#30059>

And Gallatin, with only 2% reported! :wtf:

<http://us.cnn.com/ELECTION/2006//pages/results/states/MT/S/01/county.000.html>

And then there is Cascade, which says 0% reported but has over 9000 votes reported? <http://us.cnn.com/ELECTION/2006//pages/results/states/MT/S/01/county.000.html>

You all might think I'm crazy worrying about these far West races, but this is the type of stuff you need to look for, ask questions about, and create some sort of time stamped digital record of these questions, to catch and proove "voting irregularities" like this.

...now CNN has LESS than Montana.gov, but Montana.gov didn't change!!

CNN is now the same as CBS:
Democrat Tester
138,102 50%

Republican Burns
(Incumbent)
132,411 48%

But Montana is now:
County Totals Tester 140883 Burns 132183

7. We are an odd place. Many hand counted counties
But Gallatin is starting to come in. Is that where they have had machine problems? I am not watching TV. Havocdad is giving me reports from the TV and I am online.

Ordinarily, I would trust results here about 99%. This year, at this point, and with Cheney just over the border, I would not put ANYTHING past the thugs.

If they plan to steal, this would be the pivot no one was watching for it.

Holding my breath again. Getting too old for this shit.

I think we still need to watch this one (Montana Senate), it looks like Tester should win this one, judging from most of the returns so far, but this is exactly when most of the flaky counts usually start showing up.

I for one am glad the Democrats have been ALL OVER each and every potential irregularity including getting court orders for late polls in Ohio.

We'll see how they respond to this very odd and highly suspect vote reporting.

All of the full exit polls show Tester 50, B*rns 48. Just take a look at CNN's full exits and multiply out the line items. The current spread should hold unless there's some late-night shenanigans.

Save screen shots in case this changes.

19. It could be. CNN is probably tracking the MT state numbers.
I'm not in tin-foil hat mode yet, but losing that many votes when the vote percentage was supposedly nearing 50% leads me to believe that something very unusual is happening. Could be a verification of the current count, could be a fix.

25. here is what MSNBC says about Yellowstone county
"In Montana, veteran Republican power broker Conrad Burns trailed Democrat Jon Tester, 50 percent to 48 percent. But about a quarter of the precincts yet to report because problems with new voting equipment meant the last voter did not cast his ballot until 11:55 p.m. and required a recount of every vote in Yellowstone County."

who told him that there were 5 counties left to be counted, including Yellowstone, which they are re-counting for some reason. The guy was with the Dem officials. While he wasn't super-articulate, I believe he was saying that the Dems expect the Yellowstone numbers to stay the same
and that they expected to take 2 of the unreported counties. They are expecting to win.

For what it's worth!

40. Excellent question.
The timing couldn't be more suspicious. Just when the Dem governor was about the call the election ("within a half hour") and tie up the Senate count, this happens in several remote rural precincts. It could very well be all above board, but after 2000, 2002, and 2004, I think concern at this point is more than justified.

Whoever has the time to track this for the next few hours, watch this story like a hawk and save webpages and screendumps.
