Anyone notice how the Repub pundits are all calling truce?
Every one of them has been saying things to the effect of now is the time to pull together, if we want progress both parties are going to have to work together... etc... etc... etc...

Well CNN is saying "this morning" now so I guess I better go to bed. I hope to wake up to two more Republican concession speeches.

2. They started that crap..
.. weeks ago. Now that they are behind, they are all about bipartisanship.

I hope the Dems don't fall for it. Their agenda should get no hearing, no votes, and no attention - they should be treated just as they've treated us.

Why would America be interested in their agenda, America just told them to FUCK OFF.

3. I sure noticed and also heard Pat Buchanan
predict that the Dems will get nothing done as they can't agree on anything. How come that person is all over TV ? He is an old futz, imo. Tweety sure like it though.

11. their talking bi-partisan

the right is talking bi-partisan for one reason only, they've lost control. and their shitting in their pants hoping the purge don't stop at their door when it comes to favors they have extended.
many investigations are needed to make sure they understand: business first is no longer
the game plan!
THE PEOPLE HAVE SPOKEN!WE WANT A GOVERNMENT THAT SPEAKS FOR US!
LETS INSIST ON THIS IN THE NEXT 30 DAYS:
A NEW PLAN FOR IRAQ
REPEAL THE MEDICARE DRUG PROGRAM
ENACT A NEW MEDICARE DRUG PROGRAM WITH BARTER RIGHTS FOR LOWER PRICES
GIVE THE CITIZEN THE RIGHT TO BUY DRUGS FROM CANADA
BEEF UP THE VA PROGRAM
MODEL A NEW HEALTH PROGRAM ON THE MODEL OF THE VA'S NEW SYSTEM
ITS TIME FOR A NATIONAL HEALTH PROGRAM-THE ONE WE HAVE NOW IS CORRUPT
NO MORE SOUND BYTE ADMINISTRATION

ROLL UP YOUR SLEEVES AND GO TO WORK-BECAUSE YOUR BOSS (THE PEOPLE) ARE WATCHING!

after labelling them as anti-american pro-terrorist traitors for these last five years.

10. Problem is, if we shut them out...
As they SO RICHLY DESERVE...

we run the risk of losing the support of those middle-of-the-roaders who are tired of all the one-sided partisanship, and I think there's a lot of them.

I think we can be magnanimous and afford a little compromise.

We'll let them decide where to order take-out from. :D

13. All we have to do is establish fair rules and live by them.
The Republicans only know how to cheat, so we have to establish ways to enforce the rules against them as well as against ourselves. The process is everything.

Schwarzenegger got elected to this additional term only because he got down on his bended knees, apologized profusely for his heavy-handedness and started working with the Democrats. Bush is going to have to be "born again" politically if he is to work with a Democratic majority in Congress or, the House, depending on whether we hold the lead in the Senate races.

As for Schwarzenegger, I'm doubtful that he will be able to keep the humility act up for long. I expect him to backslide into arrogant Republicanisms before long. If he does, he is in for a big surprise. California Democrats gave him an easy ride this election because of his stances on the environment and the minimum wage. We are still a Democratic state with a Democratic majority where it counts. He had better not forget that.

12. We should be bi-partisan. In 2008.
We have to spend the next friggin' year fixing vital stuff that they broke. No more 96-day workyears, folks.

I personally think we need to push 200 days this year. Keep those Repubs too busy to shag pages and take bribes.

Don't think for one minute any of them are considering working with Dems. As soon as they get their new orders on how to attack women without looking like batterers, they'll be slinging their shit again.
