Nancy Pelosi & Harry Reid call bush*: if Burns & Allen concede, we won't impeach Cheney
According to NPR, our candidates, Tester and Webb, are ahead in the vote count at the moment. It's time to make a deal. I am sure we could find some charge to impeach Cheney.

The asterisk next to bush's* name means that the record book shows his presidency should actually belong to somebody else. This could be the means to keep any more Supreme Court nominees becoming his legacy for the next decades.

Shall I call Pelosi? (pardon the odd use of tense in the terse subject line. It is intentional)

11. Yeah, I was playing with words, there
Gracie played a ditz, and I only saw them in excerpts, but I thought Gracie was so cute.

6. Yep, they have us right where ...
we want them.

No deals.

I find it incredibly hypocritical that suddenly the Republican leadership is talking about reaching across the aisle (when they are in the minority) to the people who they considered obstructionists (when they were in the majority).

Sounds like a lot of ass kissing going on here. Fuck'em.

Investigate, Indict, Impeach, Imprison.

Cheers

7. Why did Dem take impeachment "off the table." They have scorned God and man
with their arrogant crimes, why should we protect them from justice.

12. this recount is going to be nasty
We have the scantest of margins and they have the corporate press, deep pockets of the energy industry, and the hacks on the Bush-Reagan-Bush Supreme Court to invent rationalizations to take those races away from us.

13. Yea, but I would rather have truth and the threat of a honest election
A gridlocked Senate and a House with subpoena power is all that will be needed. But the momentum of the people winning is even more relentless once it gets rolling. I kind of hope Corporate media stays dishonest in their ways because the reenactment of the fairness doctrine will just down road.

14. IMPEACHMENT???
Edited on Wed Nov-08-06 12:43 PM by 90-percent
Impeachment is so .....90's. The Clinton Lynching completely emasculated any real justice impeachment can bring to bear.

Now criminal prosecution at the Hague or some other "crime against humanity enforcement bodies" would be totally delicious!

GWB should be prosecuted in an American Court and treated with the same accord the Courts gave Jeffrey Dahlmer, Ted Bundy, Richard Speck or any other home grown mass murderers from recent US History.

15. Exactly.
He should get the exact same amount of consideration and compassion he showed to the 152 (?) he killed while governor of Texas, and the unknown hundreds of thousands, American and Iraqi, killed in his "war on terra."

20. I personally agree with you but the status quo would have to be.......
kicked aside if it were ever to happen. The U.S.establishment has way too much invested in military adventurism and hegemony to let that happen. The U.S. is nothing more than a big protection racket propped up by corporations getting protection. It's been going on for over a century and the * character is just another operator of it.
