Remember how the media trumpeted Dubya's razor-thin '04 win as a "mandate"?

You can bet your bottom dollar there's no such honeymoon in store for us, as anyone who watched http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=132&topic_id=2942375&mesg_id=2942375">Chris Matthews last night could plainly see.

This is our chance to reset the counter, so let's do whatever we can to prevent the right wing from owning the next two years of media dialog.

Report unsupported slams to Media Matters, use DU to orchestrate phone/e-mail/letter campaigns. Use your blogs and DU journals to focus on particular lies and rhetorical tricks.
