Did Cheney Hurt Bush and the Republicans?
I am completely happy that the Democrats won last night; however, did Cheney's comments the last week of the election hurt Bush and the Republicans? Last week Cheney said that no matter what the results of the election the whitehouse would go "full speed ahead". Is is possible that people heard that statement and decided that they had to give the President, Cheney, and the Republicans a smackdown? I realize the electorate was angry, but could Cheney's comments have hurt?

Arrogance is not a valued American trait no matter the party. He's a liability and I hope the GOP opts to replace him before 2008.

3. The republicans hurt the GOP
They made their bed and now they have to lay in it. It's their policies that have screwed up every aspect of our government.
