Why I'm smiling today...
First, I went to bed last night after listening to Rick Santorum's concession speech. This literally gave me visions of sugar plums dancing in my head.

Second, I didn't turn on the news until I got in the car this morning and heard the words "Speaker Pelosi" come through the radio.

Third, the Rick Santorum/NRA billboard that has been the scourge of the Parkway West (Pittsburgh) was replaced.

Finally, I came to work and high-fived and belly-bumped several colleagues (and saw several formerly smug repubs with their heads hung low) over yesterday's results.

I'd like to thank everyone here for their efforts in getting out the truth and the vote and for all Americans everywhere for doing the right thing.

I can't wait for Rush at lunch and highlights of the bush presser today.
