I hate CNN. Pelosi gets shoved in a box to the side

of the screen while freaking Tom Delay gets his ugly mug filling the WHOLE screen when he was talking. Just another way they frame the dialogue and minimize what happened last night.

We have got to get fairness back in the media. Maybe not as the very first priority, but sometime... sometime before 2008.

I saw him on CNN earlier this morning and when I switched to MSNBC, there he was again! WTF??

Sorry, didn't mean to scare you. Just pointing out that earlier, when he was on, he got the whole screen, even though he's a felon. And now, the new Speaker of the House, and first woman Speaker, gets shoved in a box to the side of the screen while the Capitol Rotunda is shown in a larger box on the other side of the screen.

I still don't get why they had his smug indicted ass on TV so much this morning, he definitely made the rounds. Although he only succeeded in sounding completely delusional.

6. It was awful.

I only turned CNN back on to watch Nancy Pelosi's speech. I had to turn if off after Delay earlier. God, it really sucked. He acted like everyone really meant to vote for Republicans, but were tricked into voting for Democrats. He said "Democrats didn't win. The Republicans lost.". Like it's all about them. They were discussing "What went wrong?", as if the seats all belong to the Republicans and the Democrats took them.

CNN is just really showing their bias today.

4. Pelosi just ended with, "I will be speaker of the House not the Democrats."

What does that mean?

Previous to that she answered a question on impeachment, again stating that impeachment is off the table.

8. It means she is fair, non-partisan and working for the interests of the people...

...as for impeachment, that's a waste of legislative time, something possible in the era of Clinton when we were all flying high and trying to wrest a "peace dividend" from the military-industrial lobbyist.

she will be the Speaker over the Republicans as well as the Dems. Of the WHOLE House and not just one Party.

And she's not going to parrot impeachment on her first day out of the box. No better way to pop the celebratory balloon than to unnecessarily give the Media a nice big juicy story to scream about. Let them compile their evidence via hearings and THEN we'll hear murmurings about impeachment.
