These next two years could be golden
I believe the Bush Administration has much to hide. I think if Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid have in their power the ability to blackmail the President for his cooperation to get a lot of good things done. We will not investigate and you will not veto. Minimum wage, universal healthcare.....go right down the line. It is true that I would like to see the criminals pay for their past endeavors but I would much rather see something positive for the country happen.

2. Careful What You Wish For ...
Like many I was looking for signals in the flurry of press conferences today.
Here is what I got.
Pelosi verified Dems will push minimum wage increase first, a simple no brainer that noone can deny should have been done eons ago.
But Bush ... what does he say?
Minimum wage increase? Sure, but we will look to see what we can give back to the business owners who will be effected?

Sounds to me like a codeword. The only way minimum wage workers get a raise is if you and me pay for it and a whole lot more perks to business for the inconvienience.
I am watching the dems closely. They have been out of power so long I am no longer certain if they are the real deal or just another power hungry broker looking to pull the woll over our eyes. If the dems and BushCO get together on anything be real careful and diligent when you examine the details.
