Here in St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana, we had no option but to count on the rest of America to reject the politics of greed, intolerance, and fear. Here in the Publican stronghold, we cast our votes and awaited local defeats while praying for national victory. Those prayers were answered.

You did it.

Thank you. Especially DU. Thank you.

The struggle continues behind the wall with renewed optimism and energy.

We got hosed here, too, but the good news is that Don Young, who always likes to trumpet himself as the fourth most powerful representative in Congress, will now be about 234th. :rofl: And, if our luck holds, old Ted Stevens will lose his chairmanships.
