Meanwhile, it will sink in that there's no way on God's Green Earth the final outcome will change in any meaningful way. To grease the wheels, some hit squad from the Republic Party leadership will come a-calling on the sperm lottery winner, G. Felix Allen, and tell him its over. A 'Godfather' moment, with G. Felix playing the role of Tessio.

The concession speech will be low key. Tears may drip from the corner of the dumb man's eye. But it will be over, sure and clean.

By week's end, we'll know for sure that we control the Senate.

Maybe we should buy his a season ticket to Redskins. Just as a show of good will. Yanno?
