Least favorite GOP re-elected?

I call California's very own John Doolittle. Hell, Conrad Burns was pretty damn crooked, but at least HE returned Abramoff's money.

Or maybe the Murtha-bashing Jean Schmidt, I can't decide.

CNN still hasn't called it for her, but it looks like her lead is big enough that she will prevail.

In the Senate, Trent Lott or Orrin Hatch...

"it looks like her HEAD is big enough that she will prevail".

Unfortunately, big-headedness does sometimes help the undeserving - at least for a while.

If you look at the numbers for the CT senate race, if there hadn't been 2 repug candidates, Ned Lamont could conceivably had the difference in votes and won.

12. Representative Peter King in Long Island
He's the guy who wanted to prosecute or shutdown the NYT after it published a government leak about how the government was tracking Al Qaeda funding internationally.

It's open to debate how much to blame the NYT is for that, but King is so partisan and so hateful of any dissent from his propaganda, I had hoped he would be tossed out.

Also I was very angry that Tammy Duckworth couldn't defeat Peter Roskam. A fuckin shame.Guess DuPage County isn't trending Democratic fast enough for Duckworth to take the race.

Have fun with a RW asshat Peter Roskam as your new rep.

64. Yeah, a stronger start would have been good. And, I'm not sure about the attack ads on Kyl.
I liked Napolitano taking the high road and even saying in her ads that she refused to attack her opponent, instead she just focused on the issues. Kyl started attacking Pederson and so Pederson responded and that's never a good thing. I'm not sure though, because Kyl's attacks on Pederson got really personal, especially there at the end. How do you not respond to a guy on tv telling everyone you still owe him $46,000?? I've been thinking and wondering what Pederson could have done differently and I'm not sure.

62. Roskam and Mean Jean
I really wanted Duckworth to win. I'd have liked Mean Jean to lose as well to Victoria Wulsin (who, while not Paul Hackett, was still a GREAT candidate.)

Also, Harold Ford should have won in Tennessee. He came a lot closer than most of us expected and it's really unfortunate that he lost. Maybe if he hadn't crashed Corker's press conference he'd have pulled out a win.

And I'd have liked Heather Wilson to lose. She still might, but it looks like she's gonna hold on. And, for that matter, Sali in Idaho.

So many odious Republicans. It's a shame that even after gaining 30 or 31 House seats there are still so many terrible ones.
