neighbors, family and friends into voting, who poll watched, who drove voters to the polls, who wrote letters to the editor, who brought food to campaign workers, who distributed yard signs, who put up signs, who donated time or money, who, in one way or another, participated in this election.
You know who you are.
It has been said that the world is run by those who show up.
Thank you for showing up!

2. After volunteering for the Kerry campaign in 04 our county had a party |
|
Senator elect Sherrod Brown spoke at the party. He told us all that now we were involved that we were now activist and that we were committed to this as part of our civic responsibility. I remember him talking about taking ownership in our own citizenship and volunteering politically is part of that citizenship.
Yes, thank you everyone for all you have done.

3. You are quite welcome.. |

Didn't do as much as I wanted to due to time constraints, but I made calls for Moveon.org and Webb. I hope that I made a contribution in whatever small part I played. And to top it off, my vote will help determine who wins control in the U. S. Senate. Simply amazing.

9. I'd bet DU has a majority of people who 'show up' |
|
And this time it was fun.
Where we walked, the voters we spoke to were PISSED OFF ...... and the turnout was huge. VERY gratifying to do.
