What are the chances of Cheney resigning due to heart problems?!!
Two years is an awfully long time to hang around Washington in a job with no more controlling power.

Cheney being an action-man would probably quit the Bush game and return to a more inspiring life. I believe Cheney will feign heart probs and take a walk leaving Mr. Bush to face the possible hearings/investigations using his own private counsel.

(Enter VP. Rice)

1. With Poppy Bush's team back in charge it'll be a brain tumor.
It was AMAZING how many high ranking republican crooks got brain tumors back in the mid 80's. I ain't so sure that was within the limits of statistical randomness.

4. Well, with the even Senate split,
he'll be spending a lot of time walking to the Capitol and back. That sort of thing can take its toll, you know.

5. I think that when the heat turns up
we're likely to see characters we never even suspected to jump ship. Remember there was a LOT of land bought in Paraguay!

8. I think it's highly likely Cheney will resign because of "health problems"

If for no other reason than it's a boost for McTraitor or Condescension to run as the sitting VP.

Edited for spelling.

12. Cheney goes hunting on election day? - seems like he knew the outcome?
With Iraq going well for defense contractors (Cheney) it was reason and hope to continue with the plan. With little, or no more say-so what does Darth Vader do when his world becomes more upsetting with the likes of Pelosi and her crowd?

I believe Bush already knows Cheney will soon be gone, there may be more to the Cheney decision to go... "hunting".
