2006 Ohio results point to 2004 fraud? |
|
Did Ohio, and Ohioans really change that much in two years? Enough to go from a Bush win in '04 to a Democratic blowout of an incumbent Senator by a decided liberal in '06? What happened to all of those hundreds of thousands Amish who came out to answer the Karl Rove call in 2004? Were these loaves and fishes voters a one time miracle?

1. I don't think 2006 results show 2004 fraud. 2004 figures indicate 2004 fraud. |

That, and they weren't able to get their buggies hitched up in time to make it to the polls.

3. We counted the vote this time |
|
Every precinct had the raw vote totals & provisional ballots cast counted and entered into a d-base .... a lot harder to cheat then.
And besides @ my 11 polling stations in Columbus I had a great answer a lawyer is on his or her way .... I don't have time to argue.
Now a legit vote count might very well put Kilroy over the top too.

4. I think people got pissed off |

Even though the Ohio 2004 evidence of fraud was obvious to many, a lot of people, even Democrats, dismissed it. But as time went on, it became more obvious, with hearings Conyers held, his report, moderates like Dobbs starting to pay attention...
But that doesn't really answer the question. What does is the sinking of the Ohio economy - Cleveland is the poorest large city in the nation. Ohio has been decimated by unemployment and dropping wages and lost jobs, from all corners of the state. We have one of the highest rates of foreclosure in the country. Add to that the disgust of the massive corruption in the state, starting with Blackwell's blatant gift of Ohio to Bush, plus the Gov. Taft scandal, the Noe scandal... then Katrina... it all added up to a very loud ENOUGH. And I thank my fellow Ohioans for it!
