It seems that all of a sudden Republicans want to be bipartisan. Of course when they were in power they had no problem locking the Democrats up in the basement, and refusing to let them have any say in the legislative agenda. For the past six years that they have been in control it has been nothing by pure partisanship, yet now we are suddenly supposed to believe that all is well and good and they want to work with us.

Screw them. We were given a mandate in a referendum against the Bush Administration and we do truly do have political capital, and we intend to spend it. Sound familiar freepers? Well it is time for a taste of your own medicine. Of course we will not be as childish as you were, we will not require you to hold your meetings in the basement of the Capital, we will treat with you a hell of a lot more civility than you treated us with. We will do however is we will demand that our newly elected Congress uses their subpoena power whenever it is appropriate, and believe me there are a LOT of cases where it is appropriate. The American people demanded accountability yesterday, and we will hold Republicans accountable for all the crimes they have committed during their time in the majority.

They thought they had a permanent majority and could commit any crimes they wanted to without accountability. They were wrong, and their judgment day has finally arrived.

2. You can act in a bipartisan fashion and still
"drain the swamp." That's what Nancy Pelosi has promised us. It will be interesting to see what we find at the bottom.

3. Damn straight!
Payback is a bitch.

I say we govern by the rules the REPUKES established.

And WHEN they complain - we LOUDLY proclaim - hey - they're YOUR rules!
