Lamont : "Joe will be a good Democrat"
Lamont is a very gracious guy.

Lieberman, now the ranking Democrat on the Senate's Homeland Security Committee, not only should be considered the leading candidate to head that panel, but its Armed Forces Committee as well.

Lamont, speaking later as he stood among the few stragglers gathered at the hotel ballroom he had rented across from his campaign headquarters in Meriden, said he also figured the Democratic Party would conveniently forget Lieberman's decision not to abide by the result of its primary.

"Yeah, I think the Senate is a club and he'll be welcomed back tomorrow," the antiwar businessman said. "The Democratic Party down in Washington didn't quite know what to make of Ned Lamont, and I think they need Joe Lieberman. And on a lot of issues Joe will be a good Democrat."

1. Yup. Scheduling a press conference same time as Pelosi was a good sign.
Maybe the Blue Fairy will make him a real boy, soul and all...

4. I wonder if Ned Lamont will ever
run again for public office? He sure did us a favor by beating lieman in the Dem primaries.
