"for the good of the Country" and so as not to "dishonor the office" or "lower the process."

And, by the way Virginia, what do you intend to recount? Just out of curiosity?

Webb won! Get over it! Gee, Republicans are such sore losers.

Of course, they could start crying "election irregularities" if they think they are brave enough to go there. I don't think they really want to open up that can of worms; it really "wouldn't be prudent at this juncture."

Just couldn't resist.

4. If he wants to preserve his chances for a Presidential run in 2008
he may want to consider the bad impression he's creating now with voters outside of Virginia.

5. they can only recount the tally of the e-voting machines, not the votes, thanks to
the repukes' own refusal to secure a paper trail. It's time to investigate the $2 billion Congress spent on the "every vote counts" new machines.

6. Yes, and now that the shoe is on the other foot I bet they will be
more interested in the "paper trail" issue.

You know, I have said it since 2002 this is NOT a partisan issue. This is about fair, accurate, transparent elections and a true democratic process. I don't care what party you are in if you won fair and square and the results can be audited the please, by all means, consider yourself elected.

That piece of crap legislation, that Hack America's Vote Act has to go NOW!

13. Hmm, if the roles were reversed would we want Webb to concede before
the canvassing was complete? I don't think so. I think it was ok for Webb to claim victory but it is hypocritical for us to call for Allen to concede. Besides we can afford to be gracious. We got the Senate AND the House AND a majority of the Governorships. Woo Hoo! Take your time, Macacca! I don't actually give a crap if you wait until January to concede or even if you never concede. It won't make any difference.
