Fearless prediction for Republican strategists
The R's need to get rid of Cheney and fast. They are losing the traditional momentum and jump seat to the Presidency that the VP position traditionally occupies.

Cheney will step down due to unspecific (heart?) issues and .........drumroll....................................................

Guiliani will be appointed Vice-President. He's the ONLY viable Republican candidate at this juncture.
