I'd rather see investigations, chipping away at the neocon inner circle leading to Stupid's isolation. I think Congress has much more important things to do than bogging down in an impeachment that would never pass the Senate.

I can think of 3 things that would force an impeachment, though:

First, forcing a war against Iran.

Second, the declaration of martial law and attempted dissolution of Congress, or

Third, his veto of anything that crosses his desk from a Democratically controlled Congress.

They'd have no choice if any of those conditions arise.

7. Great idea - Nancy doesn't have anything else to do in the next few months

It's not like she has to organize a caucus from a Democratic roster that runs the gamut from A-Z, pass some legislation that will actually improve the lives of millions of Americans (you know, minimum wage, repeal of tax cuts, fixing Bush's budget, etc.), try to do something about Iraq and the deficit, prove to America and the world that she's got what it takes to help move this country forward, etc.

Sure - Ole Nance ain't got nuttin' but time to launch into an ill-fated political stunt to satisfy the most extreme and rabid wing of the Democratic base.
