1. That looks like a big enough spread for her to hold it

2. Get that hypocrite Reichert outta here! YAY!!!
I sure hope this really is the final tally, it'd be awesome to see Reichert gone.
I think the story about him getting the school bus driver fired who flipped off Bush was the final straw. Not nice to flip off the Prez, but getting fired for it is shameful. It was a "note in the personnel file" kinda thing.
Sending her my best wishes from the east side of the state where Republicans are thick, but spread out.

Bruce

3. Unfortunately, I think that's King County only, not Pierce.
Statewide results

Not all the absentee votes are in, either. I'm still hopeful ...

6. I hope to Hell she runs again.
She gave that smug sonofabitch a real run for his money.

8. It ain't over yet, at least not for Darcy -- if I'm reading this right.

There are still over 250,000 ballots left to count -- most of them in King County.

Edited to add: Oops, I don't know how many of those are 8th District, though ...

4. Wait, that's not true.
That's only counting King County. The eigth district also includes part of Pierce County. And Reichert is ahead there.

7. This is from the Secy. of State page:
http://vote.wa.gov/Elections/general/Results.aspx?o=7b7f42a5-3c6e-4bd1-92d5-0e11d5bd6d16

Darcy Burner Democrat 74,861 49.1027%

Dave Reichert Republican 77,597 50.8973%

Results are unofficial, but include the entire 8th District, not just King County.
