FIrst. I am so ecstatic that after the long years in the wilderness, we have a Democratic house and now Senate with new committee chairs....with a true opposition to the president's overreaches...

I am so happy we see some leadership now in a position to do something about all we have scratched our head about or screamed about or cried about.

We can see a chance now. There is light. BUT WE MUST HOLD PEOPLE ACCOUNTABLE.

We must call the media on their twisting of words and stories. We must hold the Clintons, and Liebermans, and Reids and Pelosis and all the rest to a standard. We must let our voices be heard. I am SOOO excited that I can have my voice heard. We must write to our congressperson and our Senators and let them know what we expect of them in the way of foreign policy, extraction from Iraq, domestic issues, and INVESTIGATIONS AND HEARINGS.

We cannot let our memory fade and cannot forget all of the partisan hatefulness we were subjected to. We as liberals were called a disease and traitors and some kind of weird abherration in America. We MUST make our voices be heard and clearly work so much harder to take back the presidency, expand the majority in both houses, and see real "working people" policies enacted.

3. OH yes. we get at least 48 hours after confirmation that we get

both houses....we are still in a period of great euphoria and celebration. Break out the vino. the pot. lol.....then after we clear our systems...back to the hard work.
