After the 2004 election - I couldn't watch the news for a week |

Now I can't stop watching the news. I even listened to Rush Limbaugh today to see how he would spin it.

1. Every time I see "DEMS WIN SENATE" I giggle. |
|
Just when I think I'm going to calm down, I start giggling again.

2. same here, except I haven't gone back |
|
and I find that reading many sources, rather than watching, is much less aggrivating and much more informative. I don't think I can go back to watching the news after 2 years.

The depression I sunk into after the fiasco in 2004 was scary. It's nice to be able to watch the news and think that America is going to be America again -- just a little bit more patience.

5. That sounds just like my reaction also. |

After 2004 I could not even read here on DU..I was so depressed by the outcome. And today I turned on Limbaugh to see what he was saying! Something about the "ultimate voter fraud" being Democratic party running conservatives to win. Ha ha, I really hate that guy, but today I could actually listen to his garbage.

6. I did as well - but still couldn't listen to him for long |
