Democrats are going to have a Senate majority for a while
In the 2008 and 2010 elections the Republicans have a majority of Senate seats that will be up. In addition, the Democrats don't have vulnerable seats in the South to worry about.
The few seats we have in the South are pretty safe.

If Warner retires in Virginia we can win that, and I think Norm Coleman is toast.

2. If Thad Cochran decides to retire in 2008
We have a good shot at a Mississippi Senate seat as former Democratic MS Attorney General Mike Moore would run.

Then, BAM, back to minority status when he flips.

If only we'd won fifty-TWO seats...

5. Hmmm this is reassuring
We have a good chance at Coleman's spot.

I think Landrieu may be vulnerable. It'll be tough to support her with her awful votes...but it's a must keep.

We should be looking at NH really closely. Replacing Sununu would be great. I also agree about Smith of OR and Alexander of TN. Harold ran a good campaign.
