I was amazed last nite how many of the commentators seemed awe-struck; some were visible bothered.
Those repukes who were beaten seem to be in total shock, or total denial, or both. I think we really pulled the rug out from under them & they had no idea it was coming!

6. I had to tiptoe around one of the office nurses today. Lest I
make her cry again. In the aftermath of Katrina I (and others in the office) said a few things about the incompetence of her "boy" and his administration. She called the office manager later that night after going home and belting down a couple of drinks. Said it had been the worst day of her life, and that we had humiliated her. I told her if she thought a few barbs made for a bad day, she should try drowning in flood waters. Things have been a little tense since then, when it comes to anything political. I couldn't wait to get to work today.

They are so stupid! They like to treat people like shat & then cry over the least little thing that doesn't go their way. A bunch of spoiled brats & babies! :nopity:

5. Now they know how we felt 2 years ago!!
I had to work with a dittohead/NASCAR/military Dr. (as his nurse) and he was NOT in a very good mood today. Hardly talkative at all compared his norm. Wasn't around very much when we weren't seeing patients. I bet he must've also found out about Rumsfeld at one point during the day, too. I kept my joy secretly silent or he could've made it very difficult for me....

7. did you see stupid Norah McDonald
showing some stupid theory of what would happen if the repukes won after the dems had taken the whole shebang? She looked like the idiot she is. Yes, they are all in shock and we are all smiling.

I mean for the most part. We in California have the Boobengroper Liar aging steriod junkey as our governor, we have scummy Doolittle left (the good part is that he will be indicted soon); Texas still is locked down under the pukes...Good hair. Kay Bailey makes me puke, and the disgusting POS Thornberry (oh I could so many places of disgust with that name; but I've decency and won't offer up the list).

But overall, we have hope.

8. I turned on the hateradio and surfed it this afternoon.
Whoa! Those folks are hurtin'. What a mess of fancy and conflicting explanations they are having. Generally I can't take their crap for more than a few seconds, but I was fascinated.

9. All they had to do was follow DU - the clues were right here.
There was an increasing trend toward Republicans deserting the sinking ship (anecdotal evidence, granted) and Democrats becoming more bold and entrenched. I also talked to plenty of my clients who expressed disgust with Bush and the RW even though they were traditional conservatives.

The last few days to me it was like watching the ocean recede in the face of an impending TSUNAMI.

So if they got blindsided it was because they were too stupid or blind to see what was happening. Bubble Boy needs to wake the fuck up and use the eyes and brain God gave him if he wants to salvage anything out of his presidency. But he won't, of course.
