The appointment of Gates, and James Baker's commission to resolve issues in the debacle that is Iraq, is the latest, much repeated, step in Dubya's life script: He screws up and Daddy pulls him out of the soup. Everything this man has ever attempted has failed, and over and over, his father has had to rescue him from his own folly. What is amazing, though, is that 30+ percent of the American public can still hold the view that he is a strong leader. What the rest of us see, though, is a scared little boy who can't make it on his own.

He was a frat brat who always depended on Mom and Dad. The world sees how weak he is. Maybe Americans will wake up. Who knows.

|
...even if he scr*wed a dead goat on national TV on Pennsylvania Avenue. They are the walking brain-dead.
