How My Repug Friend Is Justifying This Big Loss....... |
|
he told me today that this was Rove's plan. He said this is the only way that *Co can get out of their problems. Put the Dems in control - and then blame everything on them in '08.
He said - why do you think that they are rolling over so easy and not putting up a fight. Why do you think that *Co and the Repugs are taking this loss so well. He said it is their ticket out of their problems. He said that they consciously are putting their agenda on hold for 2 years knowing full well that they will take the Presidency back in '08.
He said that they have used the last six years to set many things in motion. They are willing to forego another two years before they put the final nails in the coffin of the Dems. He said that *Co sensed that the American public was getting fed up with what they were trying to do and that they used this big loss to let some of the steam out of their ire.
He said that the Repugs were patient all through Clinton's presidency and used that time to make the Dems look bad and set the stage for the 2000 election. They used the last 6 years to grab more power for the 'unitary president'.
He said either the Dems will 'f' things up in the next two years or make * look good. He said that they are in a win-win situation. He said the reason that Rummy was canned today - it was a deal that was made between *Co and Pelosi. * gave Rummy to Pelosi to make her look good in exchange for them not to go after *Co for impeachment or war crimes.
He said that the Dems need Baker just as much as *Co needs Baker to save them. All (Dems and Repugs) will rally around the Baker committee recommendations. It will be another 'peace with honor' moment - with a new name. He acknowledged that neither the Repugs/*CO or the Dems have a way out and are looking to Baker's committee to put out a plan.
He said the posturing is being put into place right now. He even cited a Lanny Davis appearance on one of the news shows today where Lanny was saying that it is in the Dems interest not to take revenge on the Repugs and to be non-partisan and cooperate with *Co and the Repugs.
He said to watch the Repug talking heads like Rush, Hannity, Drudge, etc begin to sound less partisan and more cooperative themselves. He said that they want to lure the Dems into a sense of security - albeit false.
He said that this is why he is able to deal with the loss - because it is all part of the plan to get the Repugs back into power in '08 and keep them in power because this will be the end of the Dem party.
He said why do you think that * was able to joke around today at the press conference and why do you think that Rove looked so happy. He said that Rove is a master chess player and is three moves ahead of everyone at all times. This is all part of Rove's plan and this 'big loss' just bought them more time to plot and take the back the presidency for good in '08.
I listened to his justification and was left speechless. I tried to make him listen to what he was saying and point out the sinister side to what he was saying - but he is one of those Repugs that hates Dems/Liberals and wouldn't listen. I really feel sorry for him and others like him that are so bitter.

4. Outside Of His Political Persuasion - He's An OK Guy - We Normally Don't .... |

talk politics. But I sorta was gloating and he unloaded on me.
I did forget one other thing that he told me. He said that * before Nov 7th could have prevented the loss of the House and/or Senate if he would have canned Rummy before today. He said the reason he didn't do it is because of Rove's plan. He called it a November surprise.
He also said that this could save people like Hastart. Hastart goes down quietly this way. If they would have maintained control of the house that the Foley Scandal investigation would have reopened Hastart's cover-up and lies and would have made them look even worse.
I know - strange logic - but these Repugs are crazy.

3. Man, they all played their roles very well... |

All that crying and whining by the puke losers, the ashen faced talking heads babbling incoherently as they watched their heroes fall one by one.
They had me totally convinced.

5. Does your place of employment have a drug test policy? |

This guy is on some serious mind-altering substances.
Rove is nothing more than a dirty trickster that ran out of tricks. He is a failure.

6. For the sake of your friendship |

Please urge this person to get psychiatric help. He is in a state of denial. He needs to act quickly, I have a feeling he won't be the only republican needing professional help.

and it sounded like a makeover of sour grapes to me then too. Colbert made a crack tongue-in-cheek last night about the Dems screwing up Iraq, but I seriously think that is their planned rhetoric in 2008. Iraq, the economy, San Francisco values, etc.

9. Do you really think the Dems can screw up worse in two years than... |
|
...these idiots did in six years? Especially since we have Bush to blame it all on? Hell, the ruthuglicans are still blaming everything on Clinton's dick - we'll be blaming Bush for dog shit on the sidewalk fifty years from now!

11. oh, that's a good one! |

Tell him the Democratic plan was to lose in 2000 and 2002 and 2004 to lull Republicans into complete, selfinflicted, disaster.
Actually, other than mocking him you can only tell that we shall see in 2008. As it is, the GOP and its political cred are crumbling so badly it's hard to know whether there will even be a competitive Presidential race in '08.

12. Two years is time enough to investigate, prosecute, & imprison the criminals. |
|
The war criminals, though, get sent to The Hague.
Wow, KKKarl really IS a genius! So's your friend for figuring out how prison works to their advantage.
