Today, when Buxh admitted "responsibility" for the Repubs defeat....
He said that "as leader of the party, I accept some of the responsibility"
I first said: "It's about time you owned up".

Then I saw the big picture:
If he was the leader of all of America, a defeat wouldn't have been necessary.

"I'm also looking forward to working with them to make sure that we institutionalize to the extent possible steps necessary to make sure future Presidents are capable of waging this war."
:wow::wtf:

There were so many other statements that pissed me off, but the blithe assumption that this war would just merrily continue...and that as usual, someone else would clean up the mess he's left is just...too...much. :grr::puke:

BTW George...has it occured to you that if you'd funded the alternative energy research as you'd PROMISED you would, then just maybe foreign oil wouldn't have so much leverage?
Whoop$...$illy me. I forget what'$ the REAL i$$ue...
:banghead:

3. Almost as if he wants to cement his legacy
as a war president...

As if he expects a grace period before his term is judged.....
As if he wants to let history credit his valiant effort to democratize the Middle East, but blame a future administration for dropping the ball....

...as if

4. Did anyone expect him to change?
He is still the arrogant, ignorant Asshole that he was yesterday.
