Bill Maher Outs Ken Mehlman on Larry King transcript

Bill Maher was on Larry King last night. He outed Ken Mehlman. The Larry King rebroadcast at midnight removed the Ken Mehlman reference.

The transcript of the original broadcast:

BM: A lot of the chiefs of staff, the people who really run the underpinnings of the Republican Party, are gay. I don't want to mention names, but I will Friday night...

LK:You will Friday night?

BM: Well, there's a couple of big people who I think everyone in Washington knows who run the Republican...

BM: Well, I wouldn't be the first. I'd get sued if I was the first. Ken Mehlman. Ok, there's one I think people have talked about. I don't think he's denied it when he's been, people have suggested, he doesn't say...

LK: I never heard that. I'm walking around in a fog. I never...Ken Mehlman? I never heard that. But the question is...

5. i didn't hear this on Larry King and i watched it

i heard he couldn't name them because he might get sued. but i didn't hear him actually mention Ken Mehlman or any other names and i didn't hear that King Response either.

maybe i wasn't paying attention.

I saw LK on the East Coast at 9:00 p.m. and again at midnight. The midnight show was censored. Do you get LK on the east coast or at another time zone? Obviously CNN scrambled to censor the tape so it is possible you caught the censored version.

20. Gay hypocrites are one thing, but those of us with nasty overbites

deserve a little sympathy. I had braces--THREE TIMES! My teeth have STILL slipped back into an overbite. My dentist suggested braces again. I told him that this is apparently where my teeth intend to be, and I'm tired of fighting 'em about it.

Now, if I were a closeted gay who bad-mouthed gays, THEN you'd be right to take shots.

I had crooked teeth and a slight overbite. The overbite is gone and has stayed away, but my bottom teeth settled a bit and are a little crooked. Not like they were, though, where one tooth was behind all the others.

I was kidding, though, really about Mehlman. I do think he would be fairly good-looking with his teeth fixed.

Mehlman is a rich republican. He wouldn't even need to get braces, they can fix an overbite with one-time oral surgery, these days. On top of that, according to my dentist, braces themselves are different than they were in my day.
