So let me get this straight.. Laura and George Fly to Crawford
Texas on Air Force One, costing the taxpayer thousands upon thousands of dollars just to cast a vote for a photo op...

And they could have saved all that time and money, he could have worked a full day or two more (Perhaps not a bad thing that he was out of the loop for a while) by simply casting an absentee ballot....

Where is the outcry....

I am pissed that that putz got away with that especially now when energy such a volatile commodity...

3. Somebody here said that AF 1 costs 60 grand an hour to fly.
To say nothing of the 1000 secret service people he MUST be escorted by.

I often wonder what the sets for his photo ops cost.

Yikes.

4. I said exactly the same thing!
And that he should be spending his time more productively--not that he does his job well.

5. That idiot has gotten by with so much it makes my head spin
I am fearful it won't change much either, since all the talk about "working together" and "bipartisanship". Bu$h needs to be held accountable for all the evil criminal and careless things he has done, but I'm not holding my breath.I am really fed up with all the bu$h ass kissing that goes on after a verbal scolding.I wish I had the teflon on my pots and pans that covers that worthless moron. :grr:

6. Democrats Not Mean
I am not trying to completely bash the Democrats, but that is what he got away with going to crawford on Air Force One just for a photo-op. Remember when Hilliary Clinton did something similar to this; she went to New York, on Air Force One, to campaign. In a matter of days, if not that day or the next day, Republicans were giving quotes on how much it had cost the taxpayers to pull such a stunt. When Bush did the same thing the Republican claimed you could not really figure out how much it costs taxpayers. I think the Democrats made a minor fuss about it, but they did not go crazy like the Republican had when Clinton had flown to New York.
