Rumsfeld and the Insurgents |
|
This morning the Today Show, on NBC, claimed that a website run by Iraqi insurgents has posted a message celebrating the ouster of Donald Rumsfeld as Secretary of Defense. According to the reporter the message said the insurgents had caused the ouster of the leader of the world's largest army. I just realized that the statement about the "world's largest army" is probably completely wrong. So what do DUers think about these supposed insurgent websites? Do you think they are real or do you think they are just websites run by crazy republicans? I would just like the media to track down where these websites are coming from and find out who is running them. Also, high school and college teacher tell student to be careful when getting information from the internet in that anyone can put any type of website on the internet. So, why do news show give these websites so much credence?
