Boy Are the Republicans Turning on Each Other.
We had a little blip in our Kansas City paper this morning about how Kit Bond is blaming Tom DeLay for this whole fiasco.

Then there is another article "GOP Begins To Assign Blame" by Steven Thomma of mcClatchy Newspapers

"Republicans turned on one another Wednesday after losing control of Congress -- blaming an out-of-touch, self-promoting party leadership for abandoning ethics and conservative principles and turning off the country.

The first political casualty was House Speaker Dennis Hastert of Illinois, wyho announced that he would step down from the party's leadership...."Every single member of the Republican leadership in the House should be replaced," said veteran conservative strategist Richard Viguerie. "They have failed the conservatives who put them in office, and they have failed the people of this county.

"This election was also a referendum on the so-called neo-conservatives --the big-government Republicans who took us into a nation-building war while they busted the budget and enriched big business and its K Street lobbyists."

Boy, this whole blood letting thing could get really ugly now.

3. even Limbaugh tired of "carrying water"
though I'm not sure if that referred to recent weight gains or to the evil he spread for the Republican party.

4. " "Boy, this whole blood letting thing could get really ugly now." Brang it
ON. They've always been "ugly" = now they'll be ugly in a brand new way, one I can gloat over! And then they'll just fade away to prison, or go back home and sell insurance, and that'll be the end of this disgraceful chapter of American history.
