My 97 year old friend.

He comes by every morn,he is a "Yellow Dog Democrat". He rode box cars back and forth from Okla. to Calif., during the Great Depression. He actully did sell ice cream on steet corners for maybe $2 a day.He went by the coffee shop Tues morn, and gave the Republicans a little speech about what bush* has done to the country.No one had any comment.He went back Weds, morn, more or less to rub it in. No one was there.

1. The Silence in this part of the country is huge.

I don't really hear anyone saying anything much. They were just so wrong about everything. Its almost like 50% of the population just went blind for six years - and then the veil was lifted and they are seeing just how wrong-headed they were.

It is a very odd thing.
