YEAAAAAAA AAAAARRAAAAA AGAAAAAAHHH HAHAHHA!
Holy, holy s&*t. I can't believe it. I'm actually getting emotionally overwhelmed while I'm writing this.

We did it. WE DID IT!!!!!! YEAAAAAAAAAAAARRAAAAAAGAAAAAAHHHHAHAHHA!

This is about the first time I've felt hope for the Nation in about six years. I'm crying, and man, I never cry.

F those warmongering F's. They deserved to lose.

Oh, my how richly they deserved it.

CONGRAGULATIONS, DU! Even though we suffered doubt, we never suffered from a lack of resolve.

Enjoy this win; savor it.

Tomorrow, we really go to work on 'em.

:)

1. I've been emotionally overwhelmed the last few days ...
and, now, I just feel drained. But it a good way. I've been on the verge of tears since Tuesday night.

It's really astounding and wonderful that it's happened. And that Allen conceded. I was sure he was going to call for a recount.

2. It hit me this morning when I unfurled my flag....
I live overseas and I put it out in front of my house. For the first time in 6 years I am proud to be an American again. I know we have alot of work to do, but I feel hopeful. And so does the rest of my family stuck in the States!

3. I understand your feelings so well.
I went to Europe with my husband in September and everyone we met was very careful not to mention Bush. It was like having a brother-in-law who had been found guilty of being an ax murderer/cannibal!

reasons. Tired as all get out - but it's a GOOD tired! I'm NOT complaining!!!

Dear God, two years ago, and four years ago, and six years ago, we spent a day like this licking our wounds, trying to find our way through increasing darkness, groping, fearful and bereft, wondering what went wrong and what would then proceed to go even MORE wrong as a result of the election and republi-CON superiority. I think many of us are unaccustomed to this kind of exhilaration, especially since we've seen it snatched away from us by voter fraud and Diebold and republi-CON dirty tricks. You reach the point where you're almost afraid to hold out any hope.

Not now. Not today. I'm REALLY exhausted. May try to take a nap, although I'm eager to hear Jim Webb in a few moments. But I'm just gonna relax today.

Oh yeah - and while Messers Reid, Schumer, and Durbin luxuriate in victory (as they deserve to), let's also remember to say thanks to HOWARD DEAN and his "50 State Strategy" - which also went WAY WAY far toward winning this kind of MOST excellent day for us.

Funny - something I just thought of: Howard may be our anti-rove. He's built up an infrastructure in the grass roots that may very well help us with OUR OWN "Great Realignment" for the future.

6. We had our DFA meeting last nigh
and even though the Dem candidates we all worked for lost (except 2 city council races) - it IS Orange County after all - we were all happy & hugging each other, celebrating the House & maybe the Senate - then news of Allen's concession crawled across a TV screen and we were all celebrating again.
