Can someone please tell Tom DeLay to STFU |
|
Seriously this guy has a lot of nerve. First he get in trouble in Congress for his ethics problems and now he got the balls to go on Faux News and MSNBC and say it's the Democrats that got the problem.
Let me elaborate more, on Hannity and Colmes he was on there with disgraced Oliver North saying that's it's the Democrats that got the ethics questions, not the Republicans. He brought up Congressmen Allan Mollohan of West Virginia with his ethics questions on this real estate deal and Bill Jefferson of Louisiana of how the FBI found a couple of thousands of dollars stored in his freezer, why aren't they thrown out said DeLay
Well in West Virginia Mollohan's Republican Opponent State Delegate Chris Wakim was that great of a candidate and people were questioning how he was running his campaign and as for Jefferson well Tom, Jefferson may be done with cause he faced 11 candidates(8 were Dems)in the election and only came up with 34% of the votes so it looks like he and State Rep Karen Carter(D) may face off in a run-off election in December since no candidate gained a majority of 51% of the votes, look for Jefferson to lose cause the state party endorsed Carter and literally washed there hands of Jefferson.
DeLay also said that this was not a victory for the Democrats cause the races they won were only squeakers and the republicans we take back the house in '08. First off Disgraced DeLay it is a victory cause the Democrats gained BOTH CHAMBERS OF CONGRESS and as for the races being squeakers well what do you expect? you think a democrat victory was easy..no. First the Democrats worked there asses off finding candidates to run for congress and it's somewhat hard to convince a voter to vote out there congressman cause you the saying: "People hate Congress but think there Congressman is a good upstanding person." and we had to overcome harsh gerrymander district so it's a victory it we win with just 51% of the votes.
And Mr. DeLay I have a question, if your so confident about the repukes and yourself for not being convicted of anything, why did you back down from running from re-election? if your so confident in everything, why tom why?
Face it DeLay, you are a disgraced congressmen, not a political adviser for Faux or MSNBC, so just STFU.

5. DeLay was the first card to fall in the republican's house of |
|
corruption. We owe him a BIG thank you because he got the ball rolling. His corruption was sooooo in-your-face and overt that he turned almost everyone's stomach. And tying him to Abramhoff, well....
So thank you Tom. You did a LOT towards helping us get the House, Senate, and Governorships back.

6. Yeah and the other talking point is that they won 50+ seats in '94 |
|
and we only won 35. Hey, do the math--54 seats got the Rethugs a 15 seat margin, we've got 30 plus seats.
I think Tom should get lost without delay . . .
