Do People Buy Interview Spots on Faux News? |
|
Edited on Thu Nov-09-06 04:26 PM by Kristi1696
Seriously. I'm watching it right now for a laugh and they have Hardee's CEO on right now saying how the increase in minimum wage is going to be a complete disaster for the enconomy, blah, blah, blah.
But next to him while he's talking they keep showing Hardee's products and people enjoying tasty Hardee's burgers. Mmmm, don't they look good. Now they're showing Paris Hilton's add for Carl's Jr. Seriously, they showed each and every chain owned by this group and people enjoying their delicious products.
My question is, did this guy pay for this free advertising? I don't recall seeing this sort of thing on other news channels during an interview.
Faux News is like a whole new world that's just opened up for me, it's fascinating. I hear that there's some "Fox and Friends" morning show that I need to check out too!

Not directly. But, the bigger the advertiser the bigger and more frequent the spots (and the more positive the coverage). It's unfortunately like that in most of the US media, both local and national. However, it shows a lack of morals and integrity, so therefore you're certainly going to find it more on FOX, a company that doesn't even know how to spell either of those words.
