Can we hear again from the people who said "Harry Reid was a crappy leader." |
|
"He was incompetant" "He should be replaced" "He's stupd" etc
I'm curious what you think now?
Because I was happy with him then and I'm even happier now. He's been a positive face for the Party.

1. I'd like someone a little tougher...Leahy, Durbin |
|
Maybe it's just me, but I don't think the Dem majority leader should be pro-life. But that's just me

2. Not from me--I've been a fan from the get-go. |

He shows the nation that Dems can talk tough and still be gentlemen.

I have always thought he was a better leader than Daschle was.In 2 years he lead us back to Majority, and it took 6 years for Daschle to lead us to 5050 Senate.

3. I never said he was a crappy leader - but I was initially very skeptical... |

When the chips were on the line, I have voted for him 100% all times, tho - he is MY senator.
But my opinion of him has definitely gone up recently and is steadily rising.
I'm impatient - I want a perfect world NOW - my partner is more pragmatic...
OK - I smell popcorn now - who is making popcorn in the office?!?!?!

5. I think the Democrats spent the last six years as |
|
a woefully incompetent opposition party
as a leader, he deserves blame for that

he's not the best person for the job. I'm not sure he deserves the credit for Dems getting a majority back, either. A lot of that credit goes to both Howard Dean and DSCC chair Chuck Schumer.

I preferred durbin.
but the jury is still out. the job of the senate majority leader doesn't begin until our party is seated in the senate.
