MSCorporate Media Watch: Kumbahya is the Theme.....and it's cloying!

Waking myself out of my Dream that Dems WON...BOTH HOUSES! I do a scan of the MSM today and I get this whole scenario starting with Bush's idiotic speech yesterday of working with Dems all the way through MSNBC/CNN's singing the Siren's Song of "Accomodation."

All coverage seems to be conciliatory and accomodating. The Meme being we've got problems and "We Repugs and Dems are NOW going to work together to fix them."

The other "Meme" promoted to us by Corporate America is that Dem Bloggers FAILED to DELIVER...from Dean down to Ned Lamont...they failed to deliver and it's all Move On.org's problem because "Liberal Politics" doesn't cut it anymore here in America.

The MSM also fails to keep up the report that "Corruption" was the Number One issue with voters that the "Pollsters locked up for hours on Election Day" came out with and CNN at least had Headline Lead on that day. "Corruption" more important than Iraq Invasion which was Number Two.

So...in this "Fog of Winning" the MSM still finds a way to spin results and voters intentions....and they say that the President Bush want's to sit around the Campfire with Pelosi and Reid and sing Kumbayah songs into the Midnight Hours. (a gross distortion of the TRUTH)

When we Dems wake up out of our reverie...maybe we can understand that the FIGHT IS NOT OVER! There is much more "Muck to Rake" and many more "Feet" to be "Held to the Fire."

We have SO MUCH WORK TO DO! Singing Kumbahya is great for kids....but we are GROWN UP's NOW and you aren't gonna SCAMP us EVER AGAIN!

We Progressive and Populist Dems might want to wait awhile until the Mainstream Dems organize themselves...BUT WE NEED TO BE VIGILANT!!!!

We might have WON THE BATTLE...but could still LOSE THE WAR FOR CHANGE!
