Poll question: Congressional Dems - Does Duty or Elections Come First? |
|
Edited on Thu Nov-09-06 11:21 PM by MannyGoldstein
The Congressional Dems have a tough choice.
George Bush and Dick Cheney have flagrantly attacked the Constitution. No, they have sodomized the Constitution, and will continue to do so. They have flat-out said the Constitution is merely a group of suggestions for an Executive who wields unlimited power. If ever there was a reason to impeach a President, this is it. (Oh, and there's also that murderous and failed war based on a mountain of lies.)
On the other hand, the Dems are eager to see a wounded and hated Bush floundering in public view for two more years, so that they can use the "had enough?" strategy to take the White House in '06 - even if it means more "Signing Statements" and stunningly antiConstitutional Executive Orders.
So what do you think the Congressional Dems should do?

1. I want it investigated....thoroughly and accurately. |
|
If the body of evidence supports action, the Constitution has the remedy to fix the problem.

2. Start with investigations. |
|
Everything else flows from that, twist in the wind or impeach, it all flows from that.
