Will the possible future SecDef Gates be confirmed by Dems?
I know he has a history w/Iran-Contra. Should the Dems ignore that and hope he's what we need?

Bush will then nominate Lieberman or Nelson and we'd be back in the minority in the Senate!! Is this really worth it?
