The DU Unity Thread
If your either a liberal, progressive, moderate, populist, centrist and support a unified Democratic Party to take on the issues that America truly needs addressed, show your support and bump this thread. A house divided can not stand. A party that is open and diverse will!

No in fighting for awhile! Thats the Republican's job. It is time for us to move this country foward.....Together!

We don't want to give the other side ammunition. We need to come together and do what's best for America.

12. Unity shouldn't be a problem for a while
Republican one party rule has given us such a pile of problems to fix there should be a lot of common ground. It's going to be a while before we have the luxury of micro-agendas.

Of course, the primaries are just around the corner now. Maybe we can approach them with more respect for the preferences and views of others. Or maybe not. I'm certainly going to.

15. That's right superman
No fighting! Either you get with the program or STFU!

Impeachment, or STFU

Election Reform, or STFU

Alternative energies, or STFU

I like where you're going with this, Clark. <grin>

16. I agree, sort of...
I think it's great that we all have our differences of opinion and that we express them. That differentiates us from the, shut-up-and-fall-in-line Republicans.

That being said, I hope that we remember that what truly differentiates us from the Republicans is open-mindedness and that we all understand that what we personally believe might not be the best course of action for the Democratic Party as a whole. Unfortunately the choice we often get to make is the lesser of two evils.

It's all right to fall in line from time to time, just never shut up!
