Let's make history - 2008
Call me crazy or naive (actually don't, that's a figure of speech)

But, is it possible to become so organized as to have our '08 candidate picked and ready before we get anywhere near primary season?

Imagine using using a combination of the momentum from this election and the internet based strategy of Dean in '04 to get it out to the public conciousness early and often just who exactly will be the next President.

Sure, such a strategy would give the other side more time to attack our candidate, but this is not a major problem. Having someone in the public eye enough to attract slung mud would be a good thing.

Only one problem of course.

...

...

Who?

P.S. As you can see from my post count, I'm relatively new, so be gentle. :)

1. The monkey wrench in your post is ---Tom Vilsack!
He's already declared he's a candidate and he's from IOWA - no doubt he'll win in his hoe state. Hillary and others will have to play catch up.
