I am dreaming of a Fitzgerald November surprise.
I had a dream that Fitz has something on Karl but made a deal to hold off until after the elections. Then Karl rolls on someone. Can you spell C-h-e-n-e-y? Ok, it's just a dream, no link available. Winning big on tuesday wasn't enough.

Ok, now go ahead and tell me all the reasons this is a stupid dream.

1. The subpoenas were hung by the chimney with care in hopes that
St. Fitzy soon would be there.

3. That would be THE cherry on top of one tasty sundae
It seems no dream is too big for what has been one wonderful month for Democrats (and there's still 20 days left!)...

Speaker Nancy Pelosi; most powerful woman in US History
Subpoena power for John Conyers
Majority in the House
Majority in the Senate
Majority of the Governorships
Majority of the State Legislatures
All Congressional Committees will be headed by Democrats
Donald Rumsfeld steps down
Bush makes a fool of himself at his post-election press conference
Wesley Clark considering Presidential run
John Murtha looks assured to become the House Majority Leader
The Republican Coalition is crumbling
The Democratic "Big Tent" is coalescing
Congressional gridlock means George W. Bush's agenda is done
No more extreme right-wing nominees and we can filibuster without fear now
George W. Bush's legacy is finished
Democrats have a decisive mandate
Credibility is restored to Congress, and America
The Republican Revolution is offically OVER, once and for all!!

Am I forgetting anything?

8. It is times like this
that I wish Republicans used the nuclear option, because even back then it was obvious they were going to lose Congress. Especially how it seemed Republicans got everything they wanted anyway. But pay back can be a bitch
