Seriously, who is running the Admin now that all the neocons are running
for higher ground? Does PNAC still support Bush? Is Bill Kristol in charge? Jim Baker, maybe? Someone is pulling the strings. I don't think Cheney is in charge if he ever was.

2. OMFG, I hope it's not Junior!

That's a good question. The signs (Baker, Gates, in; Rummy gone) point to Poppy...

edit: Maybe the adults are finally in charge? Maybe not the adults we would want, but at least adults.

9. I am self kicking because I very much would like some input as to
who in the hell is really running the government. Is William Kristol still backing Bush or has he bailed like some of his friends? Is there a Jame Baker cabal running the show? Someone is and I think we can rule out Cheney and Rummy. How about the Wolf? Is he still on board? Someone has control of the "red button" and I am very nervous about who it might be.

11. You are not supposed to notice but the neocons are bringing out their second string
Dem team. They will be more subtle and stealthy but make no mistake, they will be carrying water for AIPAC and Israeli policy just as much as the Republican team did.

12. Nobody. Bush is a lame duck AND a sitting duck
Republicans aren't going to come to chimpleton's rescue when his crimes are exposed.

In fact, they'll be piling on, making Bush a scapechimp for Republican failures.

Bush is completely alone, IMHO. Hence the "staff on the steps" picture the day after the election.

13. Sorry to disagree, but I refuse to believe that Bush is alone.
Some organization with lots of money backing put together this Administration and I believe there are one or two that are making all the decisions. But I can't get a grasp on who. I thought maybe it was Cheney, Wolfy, William Kristol and maybe Rummy. But I doubt that now. Thanks for the response.

15. No matter. Then Bush and his secret funders will be sitting ducks
It'll be public--including Republican--opinion that turns against Bush, if it happens (I think it will).

The reich wing is already fingerpointing, looking for someone to blame for their effed up 12-year reign of terror.

Bush will be the easy target. Or let's hope so.

His monied behind-the-curtain chimp-string-pullers won't be able to help him.
