The arrogance, cluelessness, delusion, and extremely slow learning curve exemplified by James Carville's call to replace Dean (see other DU threads, and Daily Kos, on this) are right out of a Republican playbook. He and his wife are two peas in a pod. Check out her predictions published in last Sunday's WaPo (click on the link then select her predictions from the pull-down menu):

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/11/03/AR2006110301469.html

Needless to say, she was the only competitor in their contest who predicted that Republicans would hold the House with 218 seats and the Senate with 52 seats. You'll find her other predictions amusing as well. Real prescient of ya, Mary!

1. You know what, I veer in between thinking he's a republican double
agent and the Clinton's lackey.

One has to be wrong. One isn't.

2. I have a hard time getting around that too. An impossible time in fact.
I wouldn't even close my eyes around a neo-con let alone sleep with the enemy.

3. Maybe ol' James is smarter
than we think. She's a repug and repugs are into wild, kinky sex (so I've been reading).

5. Yeah. They're both a couple of well paid actors.
The bottom line is that he and Mary do what they do because they get paid to do it. Until now I've dismissed his role as someone doing a job who's just going through the necessary motions to get the job done.

But the last couple of years there's been something about him that I can't put my finger on. I don't trust him anymore either. And why in the world he would make an issue out of Dean is mind-blowing.

What exactly is he trying to accomplish. He obviously doesn't want what's best for the party or he would use his larynx to call out the guys on the OTHER TEAM, not his own. It's time to unite.

WTF is wrong with the Dems who are trying to turn us against people on our own team. There has GOT to be a better way, there has got to be a better strategy, and there has got to be a more positive avenue for accomplishing goals. I'm so tired of negativity.

6. To live with her you couldn't possibly have priciples.
It's one thing to disagree about small things then climb into bed. It's something different if the one you climb into bed with is against all that's decent.
