5. I wish these people...
Would just start drinking themselves into a permanent blither and leave us alone. They've jumped the shark. It's over for them. Their "analyses" are distinguished by the first four letters of the word: anal. They're full of shit, have likely all full of shit and only have a constituency because their shit fit into the narrative that the Kool Kids Klub printed to get invited to the best DC cocktail parties.

Otherwise, to us one-fodder-units, these people and their words are meaningless drivel.

6. good news!
Let them keep believing that and not self-reflect on what they did to turn Americans away from their Party. That old saw about 'those who don't learn from their mistakes are doomed to repeat them' rings true.

8. We really should try to quell
that idea that conservatives won. I posted on another thread that I was listening to Jon Nicholls (?) on NPR today who was arguing that many of the newly elected are really very progressive ie Tester and McNerney among others.
I don't want to make a fuss about it. We need to stop divisiveness. But I really believe the voters are ready for new leadership and were not just voting against the neocon nightmare.

9. I think they will understand...
....when Miller, Rangel, etc...are sitting as Committee Chairpersons.
Then the light just might flicker on in their spinning heads.

10. There's some truth in the latter meme...
...because the Republicans controlled Congress. It was theirs to lose, and they lost by overreaching.

They made it a lot easier for Democrats to win, and the Dems would do well to remember this in the next two years. Before you know it, the Democratic Party is the one that will have to run on results.
