nuclear terrorism?
I've been thinking about this for a while, it's probably the scariest thought in existence and a true nightmarish scenario. It would drastically change the way of life for more or less everyone in the world if such a thing were to happen.

Do you think it's a real concern? should we be worried?v Is it actually likely, or just the media playing with us?

4. * thinks we're in for nucular terra, not nuclear terror...
Seriously, yes. Maybe not in 10 years, maybe not in 30 years... but there are 8 (?) countries now with nuclear weapons, how many will there be in 20 years, 40 years, 60 years, and how many of those countries will go thru nutsy stages (ie, have Kim jong il's or the cardigan sweater dude in Iran?), and how many opportunities will occur to have these nutjobs give an Osama, a Tim McVeigh, a mussolini the keys to a dirty bomb?

5. is it possible...
...for terrorist groups like Al Qaeda to acquire nuclear weapons and use them to destroy entire cities...or is that really far-fetched and unlikely?
