Best "human interest" stories from this election?
On Monday, Time, Newsweek, the Economist, and other weeklies will be offering their take on the events of 11/07/06. This was an election frought with an unusually high amount of drama, and with so many interesting stories abounding, the more predictable outcomes (like Kennedy and Clinton getting re-elected) aren't going to warrant any attention. Call me shallow, but I'm already interested in what races are going to warrant the most ink.

I'm already convinced the top stories will be about John Tester's David knocking down Burns' Goliath and George Allen's hubris, but what were some of the other best Hollywood moments? Deval Patrick? Casey? Harold Ford? Lincoln Chaffee? Maybe the muslim rep? Plus, as much as Lieberman irks me, I still think he had a pretty unusual journey back to the Senate.

1. human interest?
the 90-some year old lady that called 911 to get a ride to the polls.

That's human interest.

3. The SC governor candidate being turned away from the poll
because he lacked the proper documentation.

I liked that story a lot. Shows how messed up the system is.
