2. I want to see impeachment.
But it has to be done quickly.

The only way that happens is if an investigation uncovers suitably serious crimes and misdemeanors that the American public turns the corner on impeachment. That happened on October 20, 1973 in Watergate.

More importantly, we need media coverage which will present the facts of the situation without having to give the other side a chance to lie about it without calling them over the carpet for those lies. We need media which is willing to see this ChimpCo cabal for what it is and to report it as such.

Short of that, I fear that impeachment is not in the cards. We cannot accomplish it without the forth estate and without them, we will likely not get the public support.

We need to fix this.

3. Other, of course
Attempt to be bipartisan, make a big show of it.

Investigate.

THEN impeach when the former fails and the latter succeeds.

4. Stay Real
Bush and Cheyney richly deserve to be impeached, convicted, removed from office, and imprisoned. However, dems really need to remain reality based, unlike the GOP over the past decade. I think the worst thing dems can do in the near future is to squander the tiny bit of political capital they achieved - not from their own ideas or platform, but simply by NOT being republicans - in these elections, and work to censure Bush/Cheyney, but not impeach. Impeachment proceedings would turn off many of the moderates, the people "on the fence" who were mostly responsible for the margin of victory. Dems don't need an immediate backlash to their taking control of congress. Attempts at impeachment would almost guarantee this backlash. Let's all work to fix the many messes the GOP caused during their tenure, both at home and abroad. Censure Bush, and then move on.

7. Deserves Impeachment More Than Nixon
Nixon simply commited a few felonies and got aggressive with the Constitution. The Smirk is flat-out trying to destroy the Constitution via signing statements and looney executive orders. He must be removed before he succeeds.

10. More than any Pres. ever probably. We need to investigate first though to ensure there is no doubt
in anyone's mind lest it be used against us. Just my opinion though.

8. Hello
Isn't this a no-brainer. The only question is if Bush and Cheney can be impeached in the same procedure. Wouldn't that be a dream? Impeach both at the same time and Nancy's prez. Of course, those repubs wouldn't just take that lying down. I bet Cheney would resign first and Bush would try to appoint an "untainted" repub (an oxymoron if ever there was one) to take his place (and pardon him so he won't go to prison where he belongs) when he's impeached. Don't confirm the replacement and Nancy's in. I love it. It's a win/win, except maybe for Hillary, but she has to put the party first.

Question: Can an ex-president be extradited to a foreign country? (I know, I'm getting a little a head of myself - he's not an ex, YET!)

9. I want the truth out.
If the truth comes out into the open the people will demand a resignation at the least. The neo-cons have committed serious crimes and as he is their frontman Chimp will also have to be the main fall guy.

11. I personally would like to see it
But without 66 democrats in the Senate, it would be a waste of time and we have two years to make an impact.

12. the evidence is there...
I think an impeachment and eventual conviction could happen but we don't have time for that right now..we have 2 short years and I think we had better use that time to start to get this country back to what it can be.

13. Bipartisan impeachment
These steps

cease fire
investigate policy
impeach

Cease fire would be proof to the average Iraqi (and insurgent) that change is on the way

The dirt that would be uncovered would lead to many impeachable offenses.

Impeachment would prove to the world that bush IS accountable to the voters.

This would be the fastet way to repair the damage done by these men.
